1938-D/S 5C FS-511 MS68 NGC. The upper serif of the
underlying S is visible on the top of the primary D mintmark on
this Guide Book variety. NGC and PCGS combined have seen
only 11 FS-511 coins in this grade and none are finer (5/19). The
coin offered here is satiny with pastel toning and minimal die
erosion in the fields. Only a touch of strike softness is evident
on the bison's shoulder. Census: 10 in 68 (1 in 68★ ), 0 finer
