Outstanding Eye Appeal
1938-D/S 5C MS67+ NGC. CAC. Both sides of this high-end
Superb Gem are awash with intense luster, and each displays hints
of light gold-tan color, slightly more so on the reverse. The
design features are sharply struck, including the Indian's hair and
braid, LIBERTY, and the bison's fur, horn and tail. Impeccably
preserved throughout. Many thousands of the 1938-D/S are known
today, but few approach the fantastic eye appeal of the present
