1938-D/S 5C MS67 NGC. OMM-2. The final-year Buffalo nickel was struck only at Denver, while the first-year Jefferson nickel was produced at all three Mint facilities. Lustrous and close to brilliant. The strike is exquisite except for the hair above the braid. Census: 60 in 67, 3 finer (8/07).(Registry values: N1793)
