Important Guide Book Overdate
1918/7-D 5C FS-101 XF40 PCGS Secure. CAC. Appropriately
graded XF40 and recognized by CAC, showing only light wear over the
bison and obverse portrait. The original pewter-gray surfaces
exhibit no distractions. The 1918/7-D nickel is a key Guide
Book variety, created when a working die was hubbed with two
different dates. The overdate feature is plain under magnification,
and strong eyes can see it even without a loupe. On this lightly
