    1936-D 5C 3 1/2 Legs, FS-901, XF45 PCGS. CAC. This is a Choice XF example of the famous 3 1/2-Legged Buffalo nickel with rose and gold accents over nickel-gray surfaces. Quality is undeniably high for the assessment with bold detail on the hair above the braid and the bison's head. An exceedingly difficult variety to find this nice. Population: 11 in 45, 12 finer. CAC: 5 in 45, 4 finer (11/16). (NGC ID# 22ST, Variety PCGS# 38471, Base PCGS# 93978)
