    3 1/2 Legs 1936-D Nickel
    Attractive XF40

1936-D 5C 3 1/2 Legs XF40 PCGS. CAC. FS-901. The 1936-D 3 1/2 Legs Buffalo nickel is a member of both the PCGS Buffalo Nickels with Major Varieties and Buffalo Nickels Complete Variety sets, worth five points in the first set and nine points in the second. The variety is becoming increasingly popular, and the minihoard (or miniherd?) present in this auction should delight many series collectors. This lightly circulated example shows attractive silver-gray surfaces with no mentionable distractions and lots of eye appeal. Only a single Mint State example, an MS62, is currently certified at PCGS. Population: 7 in 40, 10 finer (8/10).(Registry values: P3) (NGC ID# 22ST, PCGS# 93978)

    Weight: 5.00 grams

    Metal: 75% Copper, 25% Nickel
