    Description

1937-D 5C Three-Legged--Cleaned--ANACS. XF45 Details. FS-020.2. This is one of the most famous varieties in all of American numismatics, no doubt because of the catchy nickname which has been used for most of the 70 years since it was produced. This is an affordable example with steel-gray surfaces that exhibit minimal wear and few marks. The coin was improperly cleaned at some point in its history, giving it a slightly washed-out appearance. (Registry values: N991)
