Description
Satiny JR-6 1820 Medium 0 Dime, MS63
The John Reich Plate Coin
1820 10C Medium 0 MS63 PCGS. JR-6, R.3. This is the plate
coin in Early United States Dimes 1796-1837. It
is also the 1973 Reed Hawn Collection coin, called MS65 and the
finest seen by the Dime Book authors. The second T in STATES is
low, a diagnostic for this moderately scarce variety. Dusky
caramel-gold and chestnut-gray encompass this unmarked and satiny
example. Designated as a Large 0 by PCGS, although the Dime Book
refers to JR-6 as a Medium 0. Population: 27 in 63, 41 finer
