Prized MS64 1821 Small Date Dime, JR-8

1821 10C Small Date MS64 PCGS. JR-8, R.2. As an R.2 variety, the JR-8, like the other Small Date die pairs for the 1821 dime, is readily available in circulated grades. Mint State examples are considerably more elusive, especially with the eye appeal offered by this richly toned near-Gem. Rich violet-rose and blue-gray shadings drape each side. For coins attributed exclusively as Small Date, Population: 2 in 64, 1 finer (10/09).(Registry values: N2998)
