Description1823/2 10C Small E's--Cleaned--ANACS. AU55 Details. JR-1, R.3. Star 7 points to the upper part of the curl, and star 13 is equidistant between the curl and the denticles. A center dot appears below Liberty's ear. On the reverse the right lower serif of the 1 in the denomination is missing, and of course the E's are small, with the one in STATES below the T. This coin shows little, if any, actual wear, and the surfaces are an attractive olive-golden color. A bit of rim crumbling joins the dentils above star 10, and while the obverse is well struck, some reverse weakness shows at the eagle's claws and neck.
