Description
Impressive 1823/2 Small Es Dime, JR-1, Choice Mint State
1823/2 10C Small Es MS64 NGC. Ex: Eliasberg. JR-1, R.3. This is the only variety with small E's in the reverse legend. Mottled violet and silver-gray mix across the surfaces of this lustrous specimen. The strike is nearly full, and there are no marks of any significance. Over time, the two distinct varieties of this year have gained recognition, and both Small and Large Es types are now listed in the Guide Book.
