    Colorful Obverse Patina

    1825 10C JR-2, R.2, MS64 PCGS Secure. Iridescent apple-green and rose-red patina endows the obverse of this attractive Choice dime. The reverse is pearl-gray with gold and olive undertones. Lustrous and well preserved with an above average strike and imposing eye appeal. The reverse displays at least three sets of clash marks, as produced. Among the finest examples of the die marriage. (NGC ID# 2374, Variety PCGS# 38808, Base PCGS# 4503)
