1829 Small 10C Dime, MS61
Elusive JR-3 Variety
1829 10C Small 10C, JR-3, R.4, MS61 NGC. Many collectors
would regard the present dime as brilliant, but it displays
delicate butter-gold toning. The sharply struck surfaces are free
from any noteworthy abrasions. JR-3 is a scarce marriage
attributable by two long dentils between stars 10 and 11.Ex: Houston Signature (Heritage, 12/2009), lot 7438.
