    Description

    Condition Census 1833 JR-4 Dime MS66

1833 10C MS66 NGC. JR-4, R.1. As with the few other Mint State representatives we have encountered of this marriage, struck from a somewhat early die state. The die crack from the left edge of the scroll through E in UNITED, which later develops into a sizeable cud, is fairly heavy and two other thinner cracks connect the scroll and lettering above. Both sides are boldly executed and exhibit a soft, frosted sheen beneath delicate champagne-golden toning. Freckles of russet and violet and scattered about the recesses of the reverse. Easily Condition Census for the variety and by a wide margin the nicest JR-4 Heritage has offered. Census: 2 in 66, 3 finer (3/06).(Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# 237D, PCGS# 4522)

    Weight: 2.70 grams

    Metal: 89.24% Silver, 10.76% Copper
