Attractive Multicolor Toning
1835 10C JR-1, R.1, MS64 PCGS. CAC. Lavender, magenta,
olive-green, and peach-gold shades invigorate this satiny and
sharply struck near-Gem. Liberty's cheekbone shows a few delicate
lines, but the preservation is otherwise ideal. Similar to 1836
quarter eagles, the 1835 dime is divided into Block 8 and Script 8
varieties, with JR-1 prevalent among the latter.Ex: Webcast Auction (Legend, 6/2019), lot 175.
