    1836 JR-2 Dime, MS64
    Satiny Type Coin With Original Toning

    1836 10C JR-2, R.2, MS64 NGC. The 1836 Capped Bust dime is popular among type collectors. Examples are somewhat scarce in MS64, and finer pieces are rarely offered. This near-Gem displays a bold strike and satiny mint luster with no distracting abrasions. Lavender-gray margins surround sea-green interiors. Census (all varieties included): 33 in 64 (2 in 64+), 12 finer (12/17).
