Description

1831 H10C MS64 NGC. V-6, LM-1.3, R.1. This is the earliest stage of the LM-1.3 remarriage with a crack through the tops of NIT that has not yet advanced to form a retained cud over these letters. The present example has satiny silver luster with sea-green, red, and deep orange toning across the obverse, and apricot-gold along the reverse border. A faint vertical mark on the cheek is all that prevents a finer grade.
