Description
Important MS66 1832 Half Dime
Challenging LM-8.2, V-5 Variety
1832 H10C MS66 PCGS. V-5, LM-8.2, R.3. This is an important
opportunity for the advanced die state specialist, and it was
described by Logan and McCloskey as the rarest of the five LM-8 die
remarriages. The authors further noted that only a few high-grade
examples of this die marriage had been found. The present example
is far finer than the Reiver specimen, and is possibly the finest
known example of the LM-8.2 variety.Ex: Atlanta ANA Signature (Heritage, 4/2006), lot 348.
