Description

1835 H10C Large Date, Large 5C MS64 PCGS. V-11, LM-4, R.3. The 5 in the denomination is large and almost touches a feather. This variety was discovered by W.W. Neil in 1927, but was not listed by Valentine in his 1931 monograph. Later collectors assigned it V-11. Pleasing lavender, green, and deep orange intermingle on the surfaces of this lustrous and well preserved near-Gem. The strike is razor-sharp.(Registry values: N1793)
