Desirable AU53 1807 Capped Bust, Large Stars Half, O-114
1807 50C Capped Bust, Large Stars AU53 PCGS. O-114, R.3. A scarce variety, the only appearance for both obverse and reverse, distinguished by die lumps below the 7 in the date. This strongly lustrous piece is well-defined for the grade with only modest wear across the highest design elements. Gold-orange patina prevails at the centers, while the margins show arcs of deeper rosewood-umber. For Capped Bust, Large Stars varieties without blundered denomination, Population: 3 in 53, 13 finer (10/08).From The Eagle Harbor Collection.
