Near-Mint 1807 Capped Bust Half
Scarce Small Stars Variety, O-113a

1807 50C Capped Bust, Small Stars AU58 NGC. O-113a, R.3. The late die state with lengthy reverse cracks. The sole Overton marriage of the 1807 Capped Bust, Small Stars Guide Book listing. Luster dominates the borders of this moderately toned example. Golden-brown and slate-gray fill the centers and cede to peripheral apple-green. Lightly impressed on portions of the devices. Faint thin marks are noted between stars 4 and 5 and beneath the eagle's right (facing) wing.
