Near-Mint 1807 Capped Bust Half
Small Stars, O-113a, Partial Mint Luster
1807 50C Capped Bust, Small Stars AU58 NGC. O-113a, R.3.
This scarcer variety first-year Capped Bust half dollar is mostly
brilliant, but displays chestnut-gold and navy-blue freckles near
the rims. Luster fills design elements and there are no
consequential marks. The difference in size between the Small Stars
and Large Stars is minor, but Overton-113 is also notable for
ribbed letters within the scroll.Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 6087, Greysheet# 6142)
