1808 50C AU55 ★ NGC. CAC. O-102a, R.2. Both dies are cracked, indicative of the late die state for this marriage. Cobalt-blue, purple, and gold-orange patination gravitates to the peripheries, somewhat more extensively on the obverse. This is a well struck piece that retains considerable luster and is minimally marked. Both the coveted Star and the CAC green label confirm the outstanding eye appeal.
