Description

1808 O-102a Half Dollar, MS62
Uniformly Toned and Lustrous

1808 50C O-102a, R.2, MS62 NGC. The late state of the O-102 dies shows a heavy bisecting die crack across the obverse, connecting to the dentils beneath the 80 of the date. This Mint State coin is well-defined and lustrous with soft golden and olive undertones beneath dusky lilac-gray patina. Minor abrasions limit the grade but are not bothersome.
