Description
1809 50C III Edge AU50 PCGS. O-109, R.3. The dies of O-109 are described above.Like the previous piece, this one is struck from nearly perfect dies. There are no die cracks or other die imperfections, other than faint clash marks.
Mostly brilliant silver-gray surfaces have a few splashes of gold, powder blue, and iridescent toning. Faint hairlines are present in addition to noticeable luster. Don Frederick notes that this piece is on an extra large planchet.
