Description

1810 O-104 Half, Well-Struck MS62

1810 50C O-104, R.3, MS62 NGC. The obverse is attributed by star positions, but the date is large, well-spaced, and well-centered. A lumpy die defect on the upper-left shield border identifies the reverse. The stars are also large and well-formed on this variety, although die erosion draws many of the points toward the obverse rim. A couple of wispy die cracks traverse portions of the obverse. The rose-gray surfaces on both sides show appealing luster with a good deal of eye appeal throughout.
