Description
1811/10 50C AU58 PCGS. O-101, R.1. The overdate obverse and the position of I approximately centered below the T identify the O-101 marriage. The obverse has a faint die crack from stars 9 to 12. Flowlines obscure the crack, making it nearly invisible. The reverse is also flowlined.
This lovely overdate has brilliant silver luster with ivory surfaces and delicate gold toning splashes. Slightly deeper gray indicates traces of wear on the high points. The eye appeal of this desirable near-Mint example is excellent.
