Description

1811 O-103a Half Dollar, AU58
Well-Struck Large 8 Example

1811 50C Large 8, O-103a, R.3, AU58 NGC. BHNC Die State 103.2, the latest known die state. Silver color predominates over untoned, lustrous surfaces. Strike sharpness remains good, with all reverse wing feathers clearly separated. While the clash marks have mellowed somewhat from the earlier 103.1 die state, this 103.2 example adds a crack bisecting the date.
Ex: Liberty Rare Coins (3/2/2014).
