Description
1811 50C Small 8 Genuine PCGS. O-112, Low R.4. Star 6 is recut on the obverse and the middle arrowhead is recut on the reverse. The obverse of this intermediate die state piece has the O-112a cracks, while the reverse lacks the cracks of that later die state.AU55 Details, Questionable Color. Minor hairlines and other imperfections are visible beneath the gold and iridescent toning of this piece. Perhaps cleaned and retoned, this example retains considerable eye appeal.
