1811 O-106 Half Dollar, MS65
Small 8

1811 50C Small 8 MS65 NGC. O-106, R.3. From an old numismatic holding, this Gem Mint State 1811 O-106 half dollar is new to the current collecting fraternity. The O-106 die pair is considered common. However, high grade appearances are infrequent and the last MS65 to appear at auction was 10 years ago in our 2003 FUN sale. This stunning specimen is boldly detailed with frosty luster beneath rich golden-brown toning inside a frame of blue peripheral iridescence.
