Description
1812 Large 8 O-104 Half, Sharp MS64
1812 50C Large 8, O-104, R.1, MS64 PCGS. CAC. Stars 1 and 8 are each close and equidistant from the bust tip and cap, respectively, and there is a tiny centering dot on the obverse. The reverse shows a low, slender denomination with a slanting 5 having a well-curved flag. This rose-gray coin shows excellent eye appeal, with a nice bold strike and excellent preservation. Several obverse stars are drawn toward the edge. Certified in a green-label holder.Ex: Private purchase from Delaware Valley Rare Coin (9/1990).
