Description

1812 O-107 Half Dollar, MS62
Large 8, Gold CAC Seal

1812 50C Large 8, O-107, R.2, MS62 PCGS. Gold CAC. The Capped Bust series is seldom encountered in Mint State with a Gold CAC seal. A late die state with a die lump on the base of Liberty's throat. A splendid Bust half dollar with satin luster and light peripheral cream-gray toning. The fields are clashed, but abrasions are inconsequential aside from a slender diagonal line on the back of Liberty's neck. Within the Stephen J. Herrman Spring 2024 Condition Census for O-107.
