Description
1813 50C AU55 PCGS. O-106a, R.2. Star 7 is recut and UNITED is exceptionally weak, which are the two major diagnostics for this die marriage. O-106a differs slightly with two faint die cracks: one from the rim through the bottom of UNITED, the other joining the olive branch and the denomination. The surfaces are mostly brilliant save for a trace of hazel around the perimeter. Prominent clashmarks are visible on both sides with a retrograde LIBERTY fully apparent on the reverse. An interesting and lustrous example with great eye appeal.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24EZ, PCGS# 6103, GSID# 6152)
