Description
Originally Toned Choice 1814 Half Dollar
1814 50C MS64 PCGS. O-102, R.2. Cobalt-blue and russet-brown colors endow the margins, while the centers are lightly toned. A lustrous and sharply struck near-Gem that has remarkably clean fields and a hint of gray patina on the highpoints of the profile. Several letters in LIBERTY are die clashed both in the lower shield and in the nearby field, as made. This piece has impressive eye appeal and would be a highlight of any specialized cabinet.(#6105) (Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24F3, PCGS# 6105, GSID# 6154)
