Description
Desirable 1815/2 Half Dollar, XF Sharpness
1815/2 50C --Improperly Cleaned--NCS. XF Details. O-101, High R.2. The overdate instantly identifies this variety. Deep patina envelops both sides because of a prior cleaning, but the surfaces are remarkably unabraded. Several clash marks are noted on the reverse. The strike is crisp, and a small blemish near star 13 is barely worthy of mention. Still a lovely example of this popular variety.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24F5, PCGS# 6108, GSID# 6234)
