Description
1817/3 50C VF35 PCGS. O-101a, R.2. The later die state with a lengthy arc-shaped crack between the 5 in 50 and the M in AMERICA. This is a slate-gray example of the popular Guide Book overdate. Some luster remains, and the subdued pearl-gray surfaces are smooth save for only inconspicuous obverse abrasions.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24F7, PCGS# 6111, GSID# 6235)
