1817 50C 181.7 AU50 PCGS. O-103, R.2. A dusky golden-tan example with ample satin luster. Smooth except for a few faint marks on the right obverse field. The famous "Punctuated Date" variety, which receives a separate Guide Book listing. The reverse die is shared with the even more famous O-102 1817/4 rarity.
