1817 Capped Bust Half, MS62
Popular O-112a Variety

1817 50C O-112a, R.2, MS62 NGC. BHNC Die State 112.2. Some vertical die lines are evident in front of Liberty's neck and the letters R and I in AMERICA touch at the base, identifying the O-112 die pair, while a curving die crack through the olive leaves confirms the O-112a die state. This impressive MS62 specimen exhibits well-detailed design elements and lustrous, lightly marked surfaces, under pleasing shades of golden-brown and lavender-gray toning. Housed in a Generation 3 holder.
