Description

1818 50C O-109a, R.1, AU55 PCGS. CAC. Bright silver luster radiates from the nearly brilliant surfaces of this O-109a example, with soft-gray toning on the high points where only faint rub is visible. A sharp strike remains despite the late state of the dies. Both sides show peripheral die cracks and ample evidence of die clashing. Marks are limited to a horizontal scrape near the eagle's beak and a few light field ticks. The eye appeal of this Choice AU Bust half is considerable, as confirmed by the CAC endorsement.
