Description
Vibrant 1819/8, Small 9, Half Dollar, O-101, Choice Mint State
1819/8 50C Small 9 MS64 NGC. O-101. A small 9 is punched over an 8, which is clearly visible underneath. The reverse is identified by the triple dentil below the 0 in the denomination. Vibrant rainbow toning covers both sides, with arcs of gold, teal, lavender, and slate-gray that give this piece spectacular eye appeal. This minimally marked example exhibits a sharp strike and impressive satiny luster. (Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24FC, PCGS# 6118, GSID# 6239)
