Description

1820 O-105 Half, Brightly Lustrous MS63
Well-Struck Example

1820 50C Square Base 2, Large Date, Knob, O-105, R.1, MS63 PCGS. The recutting on star 2 easily attributes this obverse, while the sharply slanting 5 and the three joined dentils near a leaf pair identify the reverse. This is a brightly lustrous silver-gray piece, save for a blotch of rose-gray in the central reverse. There are only trivial ticks on this piece, consistent with the Select grade level. Certified in a green-label holder, this is a well-struck and attractive coin.
Ex: Private purchase from Heritage (5/1990).
