Description

1821 O-101a Half Dollar, AU55
Lustrous and Lightly Toned

1821 50C O-101a, R.1, AU55 PCGS. BHNC Die State 101.4. A die crack atop of RICA in AMERICA confirms the BHNC die state. An earlier crack curves upward from in front of the olive leaves through UNITED STATES. Lively mint luster bolsters the light-gold toning that imbues both sides of this sharply struck O-101a example. A touch of high-point wear and a few tiny marks are all that prevent an even finer grade. Housed in a PCGS old green holder.
