1822 Half Dollar, O-104, MS64
Excellent Surface Quality for the Grade

1822 50C O-104, R.3, MS64 NGC. The N in UNITED is positioned slightly higher than the U and I on this variety. As a date, the 1822 half dollar is scarce in MS64 and rare finer. This piece displays sharp detail and glistening, unabraded surfaces. Attractive gunmetal-blue toning on each side yields occasional olive and gold accents. Eye appeal is excellent for the grade. Census: 52 in 64 (2 in 64+, 1 in 64 ★ ), 11 finer (12/17).
