Scarce O-102 Marriage
1823 50C Patched 3 MS63 NGC. O-102, R.4. The rarer die
marriage of Overton's Patched 3. Most examples are O-101a. O-102 is
identified by an absent left serif on the right foot of the A in
STATES. This is a splendid representative that has lightly toned
centers and rich golden-brown peripheries. Sharply struck and
pleasing with mildly prooflike fields. Likely a Condition Census
example.From The Allgood Collection.
