Description
1823 50C AU 55 ANACS. O-111a, R.1. One of the Patched 3 varieties, showing an advanced, repaired version of the Obverse 1, presumably to correct the "ugliness" of the original 3 used on variety O-101. This is a lovely, moderately toned example, with lots of original luster still remaining.
