Description

1824 Half Dollar, MS64, O-117
Lustrous and Wonderfully Toned

1824 50C MS64 NGC. O-117, R.1. This common variety is most easily identifiable by the tines that project into the left reverse field from the eagle's wing. The mint luster on this half is exceptional. It is fully evident and undiminished even through the relatively strong toning. The centers are deep gray-golden, but are surrounded by wonderful iridescence at the margins. Sharply defined in the centers.(Registry values: N2998)
