1824 50C MS64+ PCGS. CAC. O-117, R.1. Two short spikes extend into the field from the wing, pointing to the IT of UNITED. A plentiful variety often found in higher grades, but seldom with the spectacular eye appeal of this near-Gem. Both sides are fully original with intermingled gray, steel, and gold toning, all within a frame of pastel blue and iridescent toning. Population: 61 in 64 (3 in 64+), 16 finer (4/12), for all 1824 Normal Date varieties.(Registry values: N2998)
