Description
Pleasing 1824 Gem Half Dollar, O-113
1824 50C MS65 PCGS. O-113, R.1. The large-size star 7, neck swelling, and the sharp irregular break above the left-facing wing confirm the Overton variety. Lustrous gray surfaces are occasionally visited by splashes of blue-green and lavender at the borders, and the design elements are well impressed. Both sides are quite well preserved.
