Description

1825 50C AU58 PCGS. O-108, R.3. The 2 in the date has a thick base, which identifies the obverse, and the M in AMERICA is recut and slightly higher than the first A, which it touches. Dazzling cartwheel luster glides across the exceptionally clean surfaces. A touch of light tan toning at the rims is the only hint of color on this silver-gray representative. An attractive, solidly struck example with just a trace of softness on the stars and hair. (Registry values: N491)
