Choice 1827 Capped Bust Half, O-125
Square Base 2
1827 50C Square Base 2 MS64 PCGS. CAC. O-125, R.3. The
diagnostic die line is evident from the lower left base of the T in
LIBERTY through the upper right serif, and the center line of
stripe 4 extends below the shield. This lustrous piece is clearly
in the Condition Census, and it displays medium apple-green,
dove-gray, and caramel-gold toning. A few minor marks preclude Gem
status.Ex: Baltimore ANA Signature (Heritage, 7/2008), lot 503, which realized $3,737.50.(Registry values: N2998)
